To Sofiia, rhythmic gymnastics is more than a sport — it is an art form. She coaches every competitive gymnast herself, and in the club's second season every athlete she brought to USA Nationals finished in the national Top 15.

"Every child has a unique beauty, story and voice that gymnastics can help reveal. My job is to build a strong technical foundation, to encourage, and to let each girl perform her own story — whether it is her first showcase or a national final."

A small staff means nothing is lost between coaches. Sofiia sees every athlete every week.

Beyond the carpet

A coach, and a real person

Results come from hours in the gym — but a team is built outside of it too. Halloween in the club, days at the beach and theme parks, road trips together. The girls become friends, and friends push each other further.
